Among all the good irons, I choose Taylormade's R9 irons, because the r9 is an upgrade from the r7 irons. I onced played with the r7 irons, the irons' accuracy and forgiveness leave me a high impression.But I have owned a set of not bad irons at that time, I don't buy the r7, I think it is a pity for me, and now I want to change my irons. Without too many hesitation, I choose the R9 which I think is a continuation of r7. The R9 irons has many similarity with R7, but compare with the R7 irons, R9 has longer distance and more forgiveness. Like the R7,there is also an advanced inverted cone technology on the clubface of the R9 irons, so it can guarantee the consistent ball speed on off center hits. But the R9 irons have a different appearance with R7, r7 seems to more modern, but the R9 irons are more classic, and for me,PING G15 Irons I perfer the look of the R9. I also very satisfied with R9 irons' standard KBS 90 steel shaft with wall thickeness, so it can increase the proportionately as shaft diameter decreases to increase club stability. I have already feel the r7 is good enough, but the R9 irons are better than the R7, so R9 are turely the excellent irons.
